Luca Eszter Simon
She is a folk dance teacher and a graduate textile designer. She is 28 years old, was born in Budapest. She finished her studies in Knowledge of Tradition, Teaching Traditional Children Games and Folk Dance Specialisation at Apor Vilmos Catholic College. She has intermediate English language certificate.
She has been working with children since 2014. In her opinion, it is important to teach the beautiful world of the Hungarian folk culture, such as folk dance, public holidays and our holiday traditions, rhymes, songs, folk games and crafts to children at a very young age.
According to Luca, the pedagogical importance of these things has not changed in the last 100 or 150 years, and they can provide children of the 21st century with a solid foundation and knowledge that will guide them throughout their whole lives.
In our mini-kindergarten’s preparatory group, Luca gives high-quality crafts and folk dance classes. Luca has sensitive and calm nature; she is fond of children, and highly intelligent.
